After a week of working at home and not having left at all, we went as a family to Woodstock today for lunch.

It was a beautiful day, so after lunch we wandered about a bit and spend some time in the wonderful bookshop The Golden Notebook.

The Golden Notebook

Since we are working right now on our first Gustafer Yellowgold book, it was good to spend some time looking at what books are available right now for children.

We asked the bookshop what was their weirdest children’s picture book and they suggested “How The Nobble Was Finally Found” by C. K. Williams and Stephen Gammell.

How The Nobble Was Finally Found

We agreed that it was weird – it was great!

Harvey fell asleep in the car ride home, as we crossed Lake Shokan and drove through the woods and hills!
